Reviews of DestinyQuest Infinite, written by YOU
DQI’s biggest support is often hidden behind the scenes. Since I started working with Chris and DQI I’ve met a group of amazing people, who offer us words of encouragement by interacting with our posts on Facebook and Twitter, or through personal emails (my favorite! Really, I love getting these).
And so, while we’ve gotten a few reviews and previews in the media – one particularly well-written one can be found at GameNGuide – it’s the things you guys tell us that make us proud of what we’ve created.
Here are some of the comments you’ve left us:

I played the demo of Act 1 of DestinyQuest Infinite by QuestForge and is awesome. Best port of a gamebook I’ve seen and is only a demo, I repeat. I played it in Chrome. Most of the screen space is for the page where you read the text or click on the options you’re given.
The character sheet is a stripe on the right side with the right size. The combat? Don’t worry. Keep the flavour of the physical book. You see the dice rolling, and is fast, easy and really enjoyable. Oh, yes, the Quest Map. The very same we can see in the physical gamebook. But this time you can click and choose the quest or the place! 😀 Good detail: You can see a recommended Speed to take the quest.
If you like gamebooks, you’ll love DestinyQuest Infinite.

I would also say that based on my experience with the beta of DestinyQuest Infinite, it does a good job of allowing similar types of choices, and it adds the additional choices of figuring out which missions to tackle in which order. I found it quite addictive, though the narrative didn’t grab me as much (which isn’t necessarily a criticism; I just felt it was more interested in gameplay than story overall).

It’s everything I’d wanted after going through the actual books, I can’t think of anything to fault with this – it’s too much fun.

Best game of this type ever. I’ve been wanting a game like this for 25 years. Technology has finally caught up and such things possible. Yes! It took awhile but I finally got the “Spider Sense” ability and its awesome! I can evade 1 attack of my choosing during each battle allowing me to take on the toughest monsters with ease.
Keep the comments coming, guys! Feedback, suggestions, and just a general hello are always welcome. We can never have too many friends. 🙂
