Dev Diary: A birthday lull

It’s been a quiet week over here as Chris takes a much deserved break (wish him a happy belated birthday!).

We’re lamenting the waste of the time we spent on fixing scrolling and scrollbar-related issues that will now become unnecessary since we’re changing the way pages function completely. Other than that we’re trying to tackle silly but important grammar problems, like multiple monsters attacking in the singular:

Ruffians is rolling

We’ve also just noticed that the Sunken City quest resets if you die, leaving us to alternate between dying at the many hands of the Leviathan and the Squid repeatedly, without the option of skipping the unpleasantness of the quest’s beginnings (swallowing live worms does not get easier to stomach with repetition).

Yuliya’s decided not to play DQI while Chris is away because she’s just too darn good at accumulating bugs and breaking games.
