Dev Diary: Introductions and a malfunctioning inventory

Hello and welcome to our first Developer’s Diary! We’ve decided to share a weekly recap with you about how development on DestinyQuest Infinite is coming along. It’s a whole different kind of adventure!

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

A while ago we decided to subdivide the inventory into Equipment, Backpack, and Quest items (and really why didn’t we just do that to begin with?). This week we finally got the different parts to play nice and stop closing in on themselves every time we tried to expand them.

We’re focused on revisiting a few other older bugs in a run through the bug-tracker. With any luck we won’t be adding issues as we resolve them. Only 52 to go!

Some new art courtesy of Marissa has made its way into the game as well, but more on that later! We also added equipment categories to the item cards so your hero knows not to put those dusty footpads on his head. Here’s a preview:
